Defence is often the weakest skill of many bridge learners (and also many experienced players!) On average you are defending 50% of the time you play bridge therefore if you can improve this area of your game it will immediately improve your results!

The program takes you through over 100 set hands and presents you with a series of questions on things you should be thinking about and should have noticed (!) and provides over-the-shoulder advice.

The example hand I have chosen illustrates the various messages that the defenders can give each other with the cards that they play. You may be surprised at how much information the defenders can legally give to each other! In the demo below only the forward arrow button is enabled.

*Since the program is created by an American author, the bidding system used is Standard American (5 cards majors and strong No Trump). This is not a problem as you aren't bidding the hands and all the bid are explained.
